Are you in Year 10?

It's important to start thinking about where you will study after your GCSEs as soon as possible.

Year 10 is the right time to explore your next steps - your goals, your options and where you might want to study.

For those students considering 星空传媒, below is a brief timeline of our application process.  More information is available on our 星空传媒 page.

To help you make confident choices, it's important to gather as much information as possible.  One way to do that is by visiting different Colleges and Sixth Forms to find the place where you feel most comfortable and where will best support you to achieve your goals.  Visit our Open Evening page for the date of our next event, and to book your tickets.

It could be helpful to put together some questions to ask at each post-16 environment so you can compare and contrast your different options. 

These questions might include: 

• What courses are on offer and what are the entry requirements?
• What facilities are available for student use and how does the campus make you feel?
• What additional enrichment is on offer for students to take advantage outside lessons?
• What support and advice is available - learning support, pastoral support, health & wellbeing support and support to access your next steps?
• How will you get there - what are the public transport options?
• How does the College perform - exam results, Ofsted etc?
• What are the important dates and different steps in the admissions policies of the schools/colleges you are looking at?
